Amanda Bomers is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over a decade of experience leading HR operations and team member development in the resort industry.
Since 2017, Amanda has served as the HR Director at The Highlands at Harbor Springs, a Boyne Resorts property, where she focuses on fostering a positive, engaging, and efficient workplace culture. Her leadership is marked by a commitment to Kindness, Respect, and Positivity (KRP) and a dedication to enhancing the team member experience through effective communication, innovative technology, and professional development programs.
Leadership and Community Involvement
Amanda has held several leadership roles outside of her core HR responsibilities:
• Northern Michigan SHRM Board Member (2017-2021) as Treasurer.
• Secretary of her Homeowners Association, where she streamlined
communication and digitized processes.
• Active participant in resort-wide projects, including naming initiatives for team portals and developing tools to enhance team member engagement.
Passions and Interests
When she’s not leading HR initiatives or developing innovative solutions, Amanda can be found enjoying the outdoors. She is an avid skier in the winter and a golfer in the summer or the new addiction of mountain biking. Her love for adventure, learning, and experiencing new things fuels her professional and personal growth.
